The first decan of Virgo runs from 0°–10° of the sign, about Aug 23–Sep 1. Its ruler in the Chaldean order is The Sun, and its card is the Eight of Disks, which Crowley calls Prudence and the Golden Dawn the Lord of Prudence. The decan lies within the arc of the Knight of Disks (21° Leo to 20° Virgo). Its two angels of the Shem ha-Mephorash are Lecabel and Vasariah.
