The archetype of new beginning, futurity and wholeness in seed: the child-god, the miraculous birth, Harpocrates with his finger to his lips. Jung's essay on the child archetype reads it as the anticipation of the Self. In the Thoth deck the child appears at the start, at the sun and at the turn of the Aeon.
