The four functions

Jung's typology of thinking, feeling, sensation and intuition, two rational and two irrational, arranged as opposed pairs. The usual tarot mapping is Swords thinking, Cups feeling, Disks sensation, Wands intuition; it is an interpretive convention, not a Jungian text.
